A collection of exceptional Cognacs
A collection of exceptional Cognacs
Launched in 2008, our Cuvées form an exceptional collection of extraordinary Cognacs. Each Cuvée is a unique blend of rare, guaranteed origin cognacs, produced in a single batch of a strictly limited quantity, and non-reproducible. Our Cuvées reflect the ambition of Cyril Camus – fifth generation of the founding family – not just to make “great cognacs, always”, but especially for each Cuvée to surpass the previous one and blend “an exceptional cognac, every time”. In a unique, one-off blend of some of the most precious eaux-de-vie in our cellars, each Cuvée is the quintessence of the House of Camus – a veritable work of craftsmanship for our Cellar Master who will create captivating symphonies of tastes and aromas, unequaled each time. In ten years, only five editions of individually-numbered Baccarat crystal carafes designed by the French sculptor Serge Mansau, have been produced in very limited quantities.
A precious Cognac of incomparably rich flavors. The unique and irreplaceable batches of EAUX-DE-VIE are guaranteed to have aged at least 41 years, to reach their ultimate maturity, each bringing its unique character to the final blend – a simple but perfect blend.
A once-in-a-lifetime tasting experience. CAMUS Cuvée 4.176 brings together four exceptional eaux-de-vie from the same Petite Champagne area vineyard, guaranteed to be at least 43 years old, and including two sumptuous vintage cognacs from 1962 and 1964, married into an unprecedented symphony of perfumes and textures.
A lifetime homage to the past and future of the Camus Family. CAMUS Cuvée 2.105 is an exceptional blend from the Grande Champagne area, composed of two old Cognacs with differing personalities and authentic style: A guaranteed 65-year-old Cognac – the age of Jean-Paul Camus at the time of blending – very round, oaky, with surprising richness of flavor, and superb length; blended with A 40-year-old, guaranteed vintage Cognac – from the birth year of Cyril Camus – more contemporary in style, elegant and refined, lightly oaked. Cuvée 2.105 is the celebration of the love and respect between father and son and the Camus Family’s ongoing dedication to producing superb Cognacs.
“An Exceptional Cognac Owes Nothing to Chance” CAMUS Cuvée 3.140 is a refined blend of three extraordinary Cognacs, each one of guaranteed minimum age, aged in three different cellars and originating from three different crus. A delicately harmonious 65-year guaranteed minimum age Grande Champagne – elegant, with rounded tannins, racy, full and balanced in style. A 39-year guaranteed minimum age Petite Champagne – soft, generous and light which unites subtly with the Grande Champagne. And at the heart of the Cuvée 3.140 blend – noteworthy for its unique aromatic personality – is a Bons Bois of 36-year guaranteed minimum age.
Celebrating 150 Years – 1863 – 2013. 2013 marked a turning point in the history of the House of Camus. For its 150th anniversary celebration, Cyril Camus, the fifth in the family line to head the company, revisited the renowned MASTERPIECE COLLECTION and commemorated this historic moment by paying homage to the five generations that have built the CAMUS legend. For this emblematic edition, Cyril Camus chose five minimum age guaranteed eaux-de-vie from five different crus. Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois, and Bons Bois reveal their individual characteristics in a majestic blend where strength meets finesse.
The latest release. Cuvée Rarissimes, carefully bottled by hand, expresses the creativity and the high quality of blending of the House of Camus. Cuvée 4.160 is the jewel of the Atelier Rarissimes where the House of Camus today creates its most precious Cognacs for collectors. Cuvée 4.160 is a refined blend of 4 eaux-de-vie chosen for their stories, strong character and an exceptional organoleptic profile.
